Scheduling a Listing's Timing

After you create your listing, you'll be given the option to start it immediately or schedule a delayed listing, automatically posting it at a later time. Scheduling actually requires a little more thought than just clicking a link, as it allows you to strategically choose a starting time for maximum exposure.

Be sure to carefully consider the time of day and day of the week your listing will end.

Since most bidding tends to occur in the final hours of the listing, you'll want to select an end time that is convenient for buyers across all the major time zones. When scheduling your listing, eBay Motors recommends that you end it early evening, Pacific Time, in order to cover all four U.S. time zones during peak evening buying hours. (Note: eBay uses Pacific Time for all listings.)

For example, if you schedule your listing to end at 6 p.m. Pacific, it will end across the country at the following times:
Los Angeles
Denver
Chicago
NYC
6:00 PM
7:00PM
8:00PM
9:00PM
