Selling fees

The fees for most listings work this way:

  • When you list an item on eBay, you'll pay an insertion fee.

  • If the item sells, you'll also pay a final value fee.

  • The total cost of selling an item is the insertion fee plus the final value fee.

The basic fee structure depends on the type of listing—auction-style or fixed price format—you use.

There are separate fees for optional listing upgrades like Bold and Subtitle.
