Fees for Real Estate

Basic fees

In Real Estate categories on eBay, you're charged an insertion fee as described in the following table. In some cases, you're also charged a notice fee* if your property sells. The total cost of selling an item is the insertion fee plus the notice fee.

Note: Real Estate listings are also known as Classified Ad listings. Real Estate has a variety of rules to follow. See our Real Estate policies.

*You won't be charged a notice fee if:

There are no bids on your item.
If there are no bids that meet your reserve price on your Reserve Price listing.
Your listing is in the Residential, Commercial, or Other Real Estate category.
Your item is listed using the Classified Ad format. (If you have a Classified Ad listing with the Best Offer option, then a final value fee applies.)

Otherwise, you'll be charged a notice fee, whether or not you carry out the sale with the buyer.

Optional feature fees

You can add the following optional features for a small fee to help increase bids and chances of selling success.

The fine print

If your seller account is suspended for any reason, any balance on your account immediately becomes due and payable. eBay reserves the right to immediately charge any amount that you haven't previously disputed to your billing method.
Seller fees don't purchase exclusive rights to web pages on eBay. eBay may, in our sole discretion and without consent from or payment to sellers, place third-party advertisements on any web page within our site.
Insertion fees and optional feature fees are charged at the time of listing and are nonrefundable.
