    Make sure to select Men’s or Women’s Athletic Shoe categories. As long as your sneakers sell before your listing ends or renews, you’re eligible for the promo. Typically, fixed price listings renew every one calendar month and auction listings, up to 7 days.

Only newly listed Sneakers in the Men’s and Women’s Athletic Shoe Categories are recognized as eligible for the Promotion. Relists or renewals that occur outside of the Promotion Period will not qualify for the Promotion. Please note: Invited sellers must activate the Promotion by clicking the “Activate Offer” button in the promo communication or the Promotion Landing Page.


What is the Promotion?

Invited sellers (“Sellers”) who activate the offer and list one or more Qualifying Items during the Promotion Period, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein, will pay no more than $10 in final value fees if the item is sold before the listing ends or renews (typically one calendar month for fixed price listings and seven days for auction listings).


How do I activate the Promotion?

Sellers must activate the Promotion by clicking the “Activate Offer” button in the Promotion communication received from eBay or the Promotion Landing Page. Please note that the final value fee discount will not be shown during the listing process. Instead, the discount will be reflected on the item’s “Transaction Details” page within the Payments section in Seller Hub or My eBay.


How do I qualify for the Promotion?

Sellers:

The Promotion is available to Sellers who: (i) activate the Promotion, and (ii) meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account meets the standards.


Qualifying Sneakers:

Sneakers ("Qualifying Sneakers(s)”) must be (i) listed in the below categories (“Qualifying Categories”) (ii) sold for $150 or more (not including the shipping service the buyer selects, sales tax, and other applicable fees), and (iii) sold before the listing ends or renews (typically one calendar month for fixed price listings and seven days for auction listings).


Qualifying Categories:

  • Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Men > Men’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes

  • Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Women > Women’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes


Discounted final value fees will be applied to the total amount of the sale including the cost of the item, the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees. The Promotion applies to final value fees only. All current selling limits on your account, including category and item limits, apply. View the selling fees page for full details.

When is the Promotion Period?

The Promotion will start on Friday, May 12 2023 at 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second), and end on Thursday, May 18 2023 at 23:59:59 PT (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds), for new listings on www.ebay.com (the “Promotion Period”).


Restrictions & Exclusions

  • The Promotion excludes listings created or scheduled to start after the Promotion Period.
  • All listings must comply with all applicable eBay policies, including eBay’s Duplicate Listing policy, which allows for the removal of duplicate fixed price listings.
  • The Promotion is only valid for listings on the US site at www.ebay.com.
  • Fees for optional listing upgrades (e.g., reserve price, subtitle, gallery plus, listing in two categories, etc.) and any applicable international and Ad Fees still apply.
  • The Promotion is subject to US laws, void where prohibited, not redeemable for cash, has no face value, and cannot be combined with any other final value fee offer. eBay may cancel, amend, or revoke the Promotion at any time, including in response to fraudulent activity.

    If I participate in the promotion, what final value fees will I be charged for sneakers that I sell during the promotion period?

    For sneakers that qualify for the promotion and sell for $150 or more—including the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees—you will pay no more than $10 in final value fees per item based on the rates below:


    • 8% for non-Store and Starter subscribers
    • 7% for Basic and above Store subscribers
    • Insertion fees are waived
    • Per order fee ($0.30) is waived

    *For Authenticity Guarantee-eligible items, the eBay shipping fee and taxes associated with it are not subject to final value fees or eBay Ads fees, or included in the calculation to determine final value fees. Learn more.


    If I don’t participate in the promotion, what final value fees will I be charged?

    For sneakers that sell for $150 or more—including the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees—final value fees are based on the below rates:


    • 8% for non-Store and Starter subscribers
    • 7% for Basic and above Store subscribers
    • Insertion fees are waived
    • Per order fee ($0.30) is waived

    For sneakers that sell for under $150—including the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees—final value fees are based on the below rates:


    • 13.25% for non-Store and Starter subscribers
    • 12.35% for Basic and above Store subscribers
    • Insertion fees may apply if the seller has used up their monthly zero insertion fee allotment
    • Per order fee ($0.30)

    *For Authenticity Guarantee-eligible items, the eBay shipping fee and taxes associated with it are not subject to final value fees or eBay Ads fees, or included in the calculation to determine final value fees. Learn more.


    The above fees apply to Men’s and Women’s sneakers listed in the Athletic Shoes category: Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Men > Men’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes (15709) and Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Women > Women’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes (95672).


    They do not apply to the Kids’ and Babies’ Athletic Shoes categories.


    When are final value fees charged?

    Final value fees are charged upon the completion of a sale. eBay deducts fees and selling costs associated with your sales from your funds prior to payout.


    How do final value fees relate to Authenticity Guarantee?

    They are not related. eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee is a service designed to protect sellers and allow buyers to shop with confidence, without any additional cost. Our expert authenticators physically inspect all eligible items before they are shipped to buyers. They also inspect all returns prior to sending them back to sellers.
