Terms & Conditions

Only newly listed Sneakers in the Men’s and Women’s Athletic Shoe Categories with Jordan, adidas or Nike entered in the “Brand” field exactly as shown here (with exact spelling and capitalization) will be recognized as eligible for the Promotion. Relists or renewals that occur outside of the Promotion Period will not qualify for the Promotion.

What is the Promotion?

Qualifying Members (“Members”) who activate the offer and list one or more Qualifying Items during the Promotion Period, pursuant to the terms and conditions set forth herein, will receive a 50% discount on final value fees (the “Promotion”) if the item is sold before the listing ends or renews (typically one calendar month for fixed price listings and seven days for auction listings).

To qualify for the Promotion, items must be (i) listed in the below Categories, under the “Jordan”, “adidas” or “Nike” brand, (ii) sold for $150 or more (not including the shipping service the buyer selects, sales tax, and other applicable fees), and (iii) before the listing ends or renews (typically one calendar month for fixed price listings and seven days for auction listings)(“Qualifying Item(s)”).

Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Men > Men’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes
Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Women > Women’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes

Your discounted final value fees will be applied to the total amount of the sale which does include the price of the item, the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees. Who’s eligible?

The Promotion is available to Members who: (i) activate the Promotion; and (ii) meet eBay’s minimum seller performance standards. Please sign in to My eBay and view your Seller Dashboard to verify whether your account is currently meeting the standards.

When is it?

This Promotion will begin on Tuesday, November 1, 2022 at 00:00:01 PT (12:00 AM plus one second), and will end on Monday, November 7, 2022 at 23:59:59 PT (11:59 PM plus 59 seconds), for listings on www.ebay.com (the “Promotion Period”).

How do I activate the Promotion?

Members must activate the Promotion by selecting “Activate Offer” in the promo communication or the Promotion Landing Page and then create listings on the US site at www.ebay.com through the Sell Your Item form, eBay Seller Tools, eBay Mobile applications, and most third-party tools. Please note that the discount may not be shown during the listing process. Instead, the discount will be reflected in the "Seller Account” section in My eBay, under the Account tab, as well as in your next invoice or financial statement.

Restrictions & Exclusions

The Promotion excludes listings created after — or scheduled to start after — The Promotion Period.
All listings must comply with all applicable eBay policies, including eBay’s Duplicate Listing policy that allows for the removal of duplicate fixed price listings.
The Promotion is only valid for listings on the US site at ebay.com.
Fees for optional listing upgrades (such as reserve price, subtitle, Gallery Plus, listing in two categories, etc.) and any applicable international and Ad Fees will still apply. Please note: Not all features are available in all listing flows.

Promotion is subject to U.S laws, void where prohibited, not redeemable for cash, has no face value, and cannot be combined with any other final value fee offer. eBay may cancel, amend, or revoke the Promotion at any time, including in response to fraudulent activity.

If I participate in the promotion, what final value fees will I be charged for sneakers that I sell during the promotion period?

For sneakers that qualify for the promotion and sell for $150 or more—including the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees—the 50% final value fees discount is based on the below rates:

8% for non-Store and Starter subscribers
7% for Basic and above Store subscribers
Insertion fees are waived
Per order fee ($0.30) is waived

If I don’t participate in the promotion, what final value fees will I be charged?

For sneakers that sell for $150 or more—including the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees—final value fees are based on the below rates:

8% for non-Store and Starter subscribers
7% for Basic and above Store subscribers
Insertion fees are waived
Per order fee ($0.30) is waived

For sneakers that sell for under $150—including the shipping service the buyer selects*, sales tax, and other applicable fees—final value fees are based on the below rates:

9% for non-Store and Starter subscribers
12% for Basic and above Store subscribers
Insertion fees may apply if the seller has used up their monthly zero insertion fee allotment
Per order fee ($0.30)

The above fees apply to Men’s and Women’s sneakers listed in the Athletic Shoes category: Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Men > Men’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes (15709) and Clothing, Shoes & Accessories > Women > Women’s Shoes > Athletic Shoes (95672).

They do not apply to the Kids’ and Babies’ Athletic Shoes categories.

When are final value fees charged?

Final value fees are charged upon the completion of a sale. eBay deducts fees and selling costs associated with your sales from your funds prior to payout.

How do final value fees relate to Authenticity Guarantee?

They are not related. eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee is a service designed to protect sellers and allow buyers to shop with confidence, without any additional cost. Our expert authenticators physically inspect all eligible items before they are shipped to buyers. They also inspect all returns prior to sending them back to sellers. If I list an item during the promotion period, when do I have to sell my sneakers by to take advantage of the promotion?

You’ll have until your listing ends or renews (typically one calendar month for fixed price listings and 7 days for auction listings) to sell your sneakers to be eligible for the promotion.

If I have never listed or sold on eBay, can I still use this promotion?

This promotion is open to everyone, you just need to meet the promotion requirements (see terms and conditions above) to be eligible to receive the discount.
