Here's what we're doing to improve

  1. Now that we’re managing payments directly, we’re better positioned to make sure you get paid. To enable eBay to manage your payments or if you have any questions, you can learn more here.
  2. Changes have already been made to fixed price sales, where 99% of transactions are now paid upfront.
  3. Since May 2021 you’ve been able to cancel orders if the buyer hasn't paid, without needing to send payment reminders or file an unpaid item claim. Once the order has been cancelled, we can automatically relist the item for you.
  4. We’re working on ways to ensure that Best Offer purchases are paid for when they are made—you can look forward to hearing more from us as we launch Fall 2021. We’re also evaluating similar solutions for Auctions in 2022.
