It's easy to offer an immediate purchase option when you sell! When you list, simply add a Buy It Now price to your auction or choose the new Fixed Price (no bidding) format.

Auctions with a Buy It Now price:
If you're listing an auction with a Buy It Now price, buyers can buy your item immediately or place a bid.

Note: If a bid is placed (or the reserve price is met, if applicable), the Buy It Now price disappears and the listing continues auction style.
 Fixed Price format:
If you're listing a Fixed Price (no bidding) item, buyers can purchase the item immediately. There is no bidding or waiting for an auction to end.

You can also list multiple quantity of items in a single Fixed Price listing.



Step 1: On the first page of the new Sell Your Item 2.0 form, choose the format for your listing. To use Buy It Now, you may choose the Auction format and include a Buy It Now price OR choose the new Fixed Price (no bidding) format. (You'll specify the Buy It Now price later.)


Note: To use Buy It Now (with either Auctions or Fixed Price items), you must have a feedback rating of 10 or more.


Step 2: Specify a price at which you would be willing to sell your item immediately (this is your Buy It Now price).

Auctions with a Buy It Now price: Fixed Price format:
If you're listing an auction with a Buy It Now price, be sure to specify both a Starting Price and your Buy It Now price. Your Buy It Now price must be greater than or equal to your starting price.)

 If you're listing a Fixed Price (no bidding) item, simply specify your Buy It Now price.






Step 3: Complete the rest of the listing process, and your Buy It Now item will be listed. See below for how your Buy It Now item will appear to buyers.

Your item will be displayed with both a bid price and the Buy It Now price.

 Your item will be displayed with a Buy It Now price only.


Buyers can find your item on their search results pages or our category browse pages. They can also see only Buy It Now items on the "Buy It Now" tab (on search results and category browse pages).
