New benefits for eBay Store subscribers plus new fee updates
This May, eBay will introduce a new pricing structure for some listing features and for eBay Store subscriptions, plus new benefits for eBay Store subscribers.
For eBay Store subscribers
Anchor Stores—New access to dedicated customer service
Beginning in May, eBay will introduce a new pricing structure for Anchor Store subscribers. With the new pricing structure, Anchor Store subscribers also will receive new benefits including increases in the zero insertion fee listings allotment for both fixed-price and auction formats in nearly all categories and new credits for promoted listings. North American registered Store subscribers will also receive a coupon for eBay-branded shipping supplies and, by July 1, will receive exclusive access to customer service via a dedicated toll-free phone number and email.
How these changes may impact you:
If you are an Anchor Store subscriber on an annual subscription, you will pay an additional $360 per quarter, and the value of the benefits that you will receive, excluding the value of new, dedicated customer service, is worth up to $1,495 per quarter.
Premium and Basic Stores
Beginning in May, eBay will introduce a new pricing structure to Premium and Basic Store subscribers. With the new pricing structure, Premium and Basic Stores will receive an increase in the zero insertion fee listing allotment for both fixed-price and auction formats, and North American registered Store subscribers will also receive a new coupon for eBay-branded shipping supplies.
How these changes may impact you:
If you are a Basic Store subscriber on an annual subscription, you will pay an additional $12 per quarter, and the value of the benefits that you receive will be worth up to $165 per quarter.
If you are a Premium Store subscriber on an annual subscription, you will pay an additional $30 per quarter, and the value of the benefits that you receive will be worth up to $380 per quarter.

Frequently Asked Questions
-
Why is eBay making these updates?
Since we last updated eBay Store subscription fees, we’ve consistently heard two things from sellers: you want more zero insertion fee listings and direct access to our most experienced customer service agents for account-related topics (e.g., seller standards). With this update we’re addressing your requests and introducing other benefits such as a coupon for affordable eBay-branded shipping supplies and credits for promoted listings.
Our changes to the listing upgrade fees for optional features are designed to better align these fees with the relative value of listed items.
-
Why are eBay-branded shipping supplies being offered?
We’ve heard from thousands of sellers who want to promote the eBay brand and grow their business on eBay. Shipping your items with the eBay logo on tape, boxes or mailers is a great way to drive consumer awareness about your eBay business and drive traffic back to eBay, which helps you and other eBay sellers. Sellers have also told us that the eBay logo creates an impression of value.
And because eBay-branded shipping supplies are produced in large quantities, you can buy these premium-quality shipping materials at very competitive prices.
-
When will these updates take effect?
Beginning May 1st, eBay Store subscribers will begin to receive new benefits, including an increase to the zero insertion fee listing allotments for fixed price and auction-style listings in nearly all categories, and North American registered Store subscribers will receive a new eBay-branded shipping supply coupon. In addition, Anchor Store subscribers will also receive new credits for promoted listings. New dedicated customer service for North American registered Anchor Store subscribers will be available by July 1st.
The new eBay Store subscription fees will be visible on your May invoice. Since the new fees don’t take effect until May 6th, for those on the May 1st billing cycle, your eBay store will be billed for 5 days at the old subscription rate and at the new subscription rate for the remainder of the month.
Feature fee changes will take effect on May 6th for all new listings. Relisted items and items renewed through Good 'Til Cancelled will also be charged the new fees beginning May 6th.

-
How can I see the best everyday fee plan for me?
Review your listings and selling practices to see how these changes will impact you, and how you can optimize your listings and profits. You may benefit more if you upgrade or downgrade your current Stores subscription. Starting May 1st, the fee calculator and fee illustrator tools can help you determine the best option for your sales.
-
Should I subscribe to an eBay Store? What are the benefits?
Depending on your listing volume and most frequently preferred listing format, an eBay Store subscription can reduce your overall fees significantly. Having an eBay Store is also one of the best ways to establish your brand with a custom Store home page and custom header and logo that appear in your listings. You’ll get powerful tools to help build, manage, promote, and track your eBay presence for greater selling success. In addition, North American registered Store subscribers will receive a coupon for eBay-branded shipping supplies and, for North American registered Anchor Store subscribers, credits for promoted listings and dedicated customer service.
Starting May 1st, use the fee illustrator to determine which eBay Stores subscription is right for you.
