Finally, if you require coverage over $500, additional domestic and international* coverage for your shipments is available up to $5,000 at Post Offices™ and on USPS.com®. Note that the International Priority Mail Small Flat Rate™ Box and Flat Rate Envelopes are not insurable.

Important Information About Insurance for Priority Mail International
- Priority Mail International automatic indemnity and insurance are only available for parcels, including medium and large Flat Rate Boxes
- Indemnity coverage is limited to the actual value of contents or weight of the article, whichever is less
- Indemnity coverage does not apply when insurance is purchased
- There is no indemnity coverage and insurance may not be purchased for Priority Mail International Flat Rate Envelopes or Priority Mail International Small Flat Rate Boxes
