When you’re ready to sell an item, it’s important to price it right. See how others have listed similar items and what they sold for. Do an Advanced Search on your item and click on Completed Listings.

Sign up for PayPal

Make the most of your item title
Your item title is critical to helping buyers find your item, so be sure to include key words that buyers will search for, unique or descriptive attributes, and remember to check your spelling.

Write a good description
A good description is concise, well organized, and easy to read. Include item style, type, brand, and condition—especially if it’s used. Use item specifics like size, color, and brand.

Include lots of photos

Set a reasonable shipping cost
Consider offering free or low-cost shipping and 1-day handling whenever possible. Offering free shipping can boost search results and sales. eBay's free Shipping Calculator provides real-time shipping costs to buyers globally.

Always respond quickly to buyer questions. Surprise and delight your customers with a neatly packed item and a handwritten note in the package. Leave feedback for your buyer promptly, so they'll do the same for you.
