Selling with eBay Stores – basic steps
Step 1: Subscribe to eBay Stores
Step 2: Set up and design your eBay Store
Step 3: Start listing your items
Step 4: Manage your eBay Store
Step 5: Market your eBay Store
An eBay Store is designed to help dedicated sellers maximize their business on eBay and the Internet. Your monthly fee gives you access to eBay Stores tools that you can use to build, manage, promote, and track your business.
You will need to choose a subscription level. Your decision depends on your needs and short-term goals. Learn more about the benefits of each subscription level.
You will also need to choose a Store Name. The name you choose determines your Store's Web site address (or "URL").
To sign up for an eBay Store, go to the Subscribe to Stores page.
The next step is to set up, design, brand, and customize your Store. Making your Store appealing, unique, and easy for buyers to browse and buy increases your chances for success.

Tip: To get recommendations and make changes, use the Quick Store Tuneup tool in My eBay when you click the "Manage My Store" link.
Now that you have your Store set up, start selling! eBay Stores sellers can list in three formats: Auction-Style, Fixed Price, and Store Inventory. All listing formats automatically appear in your Store and can be created using the Sell Your Item form, TurboLister, Selling Manager Pro, or your favorite listing tool.
Store Inventory is an additional listing format available only to eBay Stores sellers. The Store Inventory listing format has a longer duration and lower Insertion Fees but provides less exposure. To learn more, see About Store Inventory Format.
Once your Store is set up and you have started listing, learn how to be a better seller. Use Store features, such as placing your Store on vacation, changing Store Inventory listings to Auction-style or Fixed Price listings formats, or learn how to promote other items in your Store.
Create interest in your Store by making sure buyers not only find your Store, but have a reason to keep coming back. For example, you can put certain items on sale with Markdown Manager. You can also send out email newsletters to highlight new or seasonal items.
All of your items appear in your eBay Store, no matter which selling formats you choose - Auction-Style, Fixed Price, or Store Inventory. To learn how the Store Inventory format works, see About Store Inventory Format.
Once you set up your eBay Store, you manage your eBay Store using My eBay. For example you can change your Store’s name and categories.
Rules for Selling apply to eBay Stores. Be sure to review selling policies, especially linking from an eBay Store to avoid problems with your listings.
Taking the time to make simple improvements to your eBay Store makes your Store stand out.
