There are lots of ways to make your listing stand out from the crowd on eBay. Each upgrade is designed to promote a listing in different ways—some highlight your item in a search listing, others feature your listing in a prominent area of the page.

Here are some points to consider when deciding which upgrade is right for your listing.

• Fees vary depending on the upgrade, the selling format that you choose, and the eBay site on which you list. For example, the Listing Designer fee for eBay Motors is higher than on ebay.com. To see how much each upgrade costs, visit the eBay Fees page.

• Most listing upgrades are flat fees so it is important to consider the fees in relation to the value of your item. For example, you might promote your item differently if you list a modern edition of the book “Wizard of Oz” for $15.00, versus a first edition in excellent condition for $1500.

• Some upgrades require qualifications. For example, Featured Plus! is available only to sellers with a Feedback Score of 10 or more.

• As with listing fees, optional feature fees are charged at the time of listing and they are non-refundable.

• Consider combinations of upgrades to promote your item at a discounted price.

Note: Listing upgrade features for Store Inventory listings have a different visibility level and fee structure. While Store Inventory listing upgrade features always appear in your Store view, these features only appear in regular eBay search and browse results in specific instances.

• 10-day Listing– Select the longest listing available.

• Scheduling Your Listing– Starting your listing at a specific time is not only convenient for you, but it may also expose your listing to more potential buyers. For example, you can schedule your listing to end during the weekend when more people have time to shop on eBay.

• Home Page Featured− Get the highest level of visibility on eBay!

• Featured Plus!– Your item is listed in the Featured Items section of its category list and also appears in the regular, non-featured item list at the top of the page in the search results list.

• Gallery Featured− Choose this promotional option and your item will appear in the special Featured section above the general Picture Gallery. Gallery Featured includes Gallery Plus which displays a larger picture (140 pixels rather than the standard 96 pixels) in search results that opens on mouseover.

• International Site Visibility - Attract more potential buyers from other countries. Your item will automatically appear in search results on other eBay sites.

• Highlight− Emphasizes your listing in search results with an eye-catching colored band.

• Border− Surrounds your listing in search results with a colored band to showcase it.

• Bold − Adds instant emphasis to your listing and makes your item title stand out in buyers’ search results.

• Gallery– Provides buyers with a photo of your item when they search and browse.

• Gallery Plus– Attract buyers with a larger version of your listing picture in search results.

• Item Subtitle– Adds descriptive information on your item below the main title. Emphasizes your listing in search results. 

• Gift Services− Features your item as a gift and adds an eye-catching gift icon next to your listing.

• Listing in two categories − Reaches more shoppers and generates more interest in your item.

• eBay Picture Hosting − Enhance your listing by adding additional pictures (up to12). Your first picture is free.

• Pro Pack* – The Pro Pack option saves you money while helping your listing really stand out. Pro Pack combines Bold, Border, Highlight, Gallery Featured**, and Featured Plus! and you pay less compared to purchasing each upgrade individually.

• Value Pack − The Value Pack option gives you the essential listing upgrades for less. Value Pack combines Gallery Plus, Subtitle, and Listing Designer to dress up your listing for prospective buyers.
