These labels enable you to ship the items you input on the intake form. To ensure your shipment arrives safely, each shipping label is insured for the value of your consigned items.

How are my items priced?

Our partner’s inventory team will thoroughly research your items and obtain a fair market resale value. This is one of the most time consuming parts of the selling process, which we now handle for you. We take into consideration age, style, designer, comparable sales, and condition. One of the benefits to consigning with us is that our partner is flexible and happy to work with you on any price adjustments. If an item doesn’t sell after three months, our partner will proactively make a moderate price reduction to help generate a sale. Rest assured, we are invested in these items and share a common goal to sell each and every item for the most we possibly can.

Should I include any accompanying items with the product?

Accompanying items, including (but not limited to) authenticity cards, warranty cards, paperwork, boxes, dust bags, and/or accessories, can increase the resale value of your items. How long will it be until I receive my payment?

At any point during your consignment journey, you may reach out to our partner Linda’s Stuff to obtain a status update on your items. Contact our partner utilizing the following email address: sell@shoplindasstuff.com or phone number: 1-866-685-4632. Our partner will notify you once your item sells. 30 days after the sale, provided the item is not returned, our partner will issue payment to you via check, to the mailing address you indicated in the submission form field. Please allow approximately 7-10 business days for your check to arrive in the mail.

How long will you hold my items for consignment?

The consignment period begins on the date your items are listed for sale. Our partner will continue to relist your items for sale each time the original listing expires, for up to one year, unless you notify our partner otherwise. If you have items that remain unsold after 365 days, it is your (the consignor’s) responsibility to contact our partner to arrange their return. Return shipping costs $25 per box. If we do not hear from you after 365 days, the items will become the property of our consignment partner.

How can I track the progress of my consignments?

Progress information is available at any time, upon request. Please email our partner at sell@shoplindasstuff.com with your name and tracking number, and a representative from the Linda’s Stuff team will be in touch with a status update within 72 hours of your request. Where is my item shipping to?

Your submissions will be shipped to our partner’s facility, where your item will be inspected by our partner, and then photographed, priced, listed, and stored throughout the consignment and selling process.

Will my shipment be insured throughout transit?

In the unlikely event your item is lost or damaged, our service will cover such loss or damage of the item.

Will the items I consign go through the eBay Authenticity Guarantee program?

Items consigned will be shipped to our consignment partner, who will thoroughly inspect the items. Once the items are sold on the eBay platform, they will go through eBay’s Authenticity Guarantee program, provided they meet the eligibility criteria. In the event that any authenticity or listing concerns are flagged while the item is being inspected by our authenticators, our consignment partner will reach out to you directly in order to obtain a resolution.

What are the benefits of eBay consignment versus selling an item myself?

Oftentimes, the most time consuming part of selling your item is the listing process. eBay consignment handles all of the researching, photographing, pricing, and listing to ensure you get the most competitive value for your designer goods. You will receive the proceeds of your sales (minus the partner’s commission).

Where is my shipping label?

Once you submit the intake form, a shipping label will be automatically generated for your consignment. If the insurance amount you request for your shipment is above a certain threshold, you may be contacted directly by our partner to confirm the value of your items. In this situation, our partner will reach out to you first before emailing the insured label to you. Labels can also be delayed if your phone number, zip code, or address are not valid. Always make sure to double check your information is correct before submitting your intake form. If you cannot find your shipping label in your email inbox, you may also want to check your spam or junk mail folder. The shipping label will come from our partner’s email address, sell@shoplindasstuff.com. In the event you are not able to find your label, feel free to call our partner directly at 1-866-685-4632 and they will issue you a new label.

eBay’s Consignment Service Overview

eBay’s consignment service can help you earn money by having your no-longer-needed items (each an “Item” and collectively, “Items”) sold on eBay.com. An authorized eBay third-party partner (“Partner”) will assist in obtaining your Items by providing you a shipping label to send your Item(s)s to the Partner’s facility. The Partner will then list and attempt to sell your Item(s) on eBay.com on a consignment basis.

Third party services

The services the Partner provides you under eBay’s consignment service are collectively referred to as the “Services”. By shipping your Item(s) to the Partner for performance of the Services, you agree to be bound by these terms and conditions. eBay and the Partner reserve the right to amend, cancel or alter these terms and conditions and the Services at their discretions. The Services are being provided to you by the Partner and not by eBay Inc. (“eBay”). eBay does not take possession of the Item(s) you want sold.

THE USE OF THE SERVICES IS GOVERNED BY THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS. PLEASE READ CAREFULLY. BY SHIPPING YOUR ITEM(S) TO THE PARTNER, YOU ARE CONSENTING TO THESE TERMS AND CONSIGNING YOUR ITEMS TO BE SOLD BY THE PARTNER ON EBAY.COM.

THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY BE AMENDED AT ANY TIME BY POSTING AMENDED TERMS. THE AMENDED TERMS WILL AUTOMATICALLY BE EFFECTIVE IMMEDIATELY AFTER THEY ARE POSTED.

THERE IS NO GUARANTEE THAT YOUR ITEM WILL BE LISTED OR THAT YOUR ITEM WILL SELL.

Your Representations and Warranties

"You, (the “Consignor”) represent and warrant that you: (A) are age eighteen (18) or older; (B) are the lawful owner of each Item you are consigning and have all the necessary right, title, and authorization to consign such Item and permit the Partner to offer, sell, and deliver the Item to any third party buyer; and (C) your Items are not counterfeit and do not infringe the proprietary rights, including, without limitation, copyrights, patents, domain names, trademark rights or any other intellectual property rights, of any third party. If you breach any of the above representations and warranties, you may be ineligible to participate in eBay’s consignment service or use eBay in the future. In addition, the Partner is under an obligation to share information regarding such potential or actual breach with eBay, in which case eBay may restrict or suspend your selling activity on the eBay website. In addition, eBay may restrict or suspend your selling activity on the eBay website and suspend or remove a listing, if an item is reported by a third party as infringing the proprietary or intellectual property rights of such third party."

Items eligible for the service

  1. Eligible items

Items eligible for eBay’s consignment service include certain, specified Apparel, Bags, Wallets and Accessories, Footwear, Jewelry and Watches listed in the FAQs. See the list of Items eligible to be consigned.

Please see eBay’s prohibited items policy here, and eBay’s intellectual property policy here.

  2. Refusal of items

The Partner reserves the right to reject any of your Items, including your eligible items, if it believes that the Item will not successfully sell on eBay.com. Furthermore, the Partner may refuse to accept ineligible Items and is not responsible for storage, delivery, return, damage or loss of such Item(s). Partner reserves the right to donate or otherwise dispose of such ineligible items in its sole and absolute discretion.

  3. Country eligibility

eBay’s consignment service is only available for buyers or sellers in the United States, not including buyers or sellers in unincorporated territories (incl. Puerto Rico and the U.S. Virgin Islands). eBay reserves the right to expand of limit the countries eligible for eBay’s consignment service or the Services at any time, in its sole discretion, with or without notice.

Liability for loss or damage

Items will be insured by the Partner during transport and storage at the Partner’s facility while the Item is in the Partner’s possession. You will be reimbursed for any Item that is lost, damaged or stolen while in the Partner’s possession.

The Partner’s aggregate liability to you or any third party in any circumstance for each Item is limited to the price at which the Item sold on eBay.com and if not sold, the average selling price for virtually the same item (with the same features and in the same condition) on eBay.com over the 90 days prior to the determination.

The Partner shall not be responsible for any loss or damage to Item(s) resulting from the following:

  1. Caused by or resulting from inherent vice, wear and tear, rust, corrosion, decay, deterioration, hidden, or latent defect.
  2. Caused by or resulting from fungus or mold (unless such fungus or mold is in the Partner’s facility).
  3. Caused by or resulting from the seizure or destruction of property by order of governmental authority.
  4. Caused by or resulting from war, military action, rebellion, or revolution.
  5. Mechanical or electrical derangement of Items unless evidenced by external damage to such Items.

After you complete the intake form, the Partner will email you the prepaid shipping label(s) you requested. To ensure your shipment will arrive safely, shipping labels are insured for the value of the consigned items. It is your responsibility to package and mail your Item(s) safely, properly, and according to instructions.

If there is no scan showing the shipping carrier received the package, then the Partner and the shipping carrier are not liable for any lost, damaged, or stolen boxes. The Partner only accepts responsibility for the Item(s) it receives.

Payment for sold item(s)

After your Item(s) sell, an invoice for your sales will be emailed to you approximately one month after the sale. Generally, payment is issued 7-10 business days after the invoice is emailed to you.

Consignment period / items that do not sell

The consignment period begins on the date your items are listed for sale. The Partner will continue to relist your items for sale each time the original listing expires, for up to one year, unless you notify the Partner otherwise. If you have items that remain unsold after 365 days, it is your (the consignor’s) responsibility to contact The Partner to arrange return of your Item(s). Return shipping costs $25 per box. If we do not hear from you after 365 days, the Item(s) will become the property of the Partner.

If the Partner is not able to verify the item’s authenticity or the item does not meet the brand eligibility guidelines, the Partner will reach out to arrange a return. Return shipping costs $25 per box.

Requesting a return

If you want your Item(s) returned to you, it is your (the consignor’s) responsibility to contact the Partner to arrange a return of the Item(s). Return shipping costs $25 per box. If the Partner does not receive a return request from you within one year of the consignment period start date, and the Item(s) does not sell, the Item(s) will become the property of the Partner.

Prohibition of shill bidding

Shill bidding is prohibited for your items listed through eBay’s consignment service. For more information on shill bidding, see our policy page here.

The proceeds you receive from the sale of your Item(s) depend on the final sale price of each item (see table below). Data privacy

The Partner will collect your name, address, phone number, email address and payment information (“your personal information”) for participation in the service. Your personal information will be used only to provide you the Services and any additional services you request. The Partner may share your personal information with eBay Inc. in order for them to measure and improve the service and their related services and for trust and safety purposes. The Partner may also share your personal information with service providers who help with its business operations.

The Partner does not sell or rent your personal information to third parties for their marketing purposes without your explicit consent. The Partner may combine your information with information collected from other companies and use it to improve and personalize services and advertising.

No agency

These terms and conditions and your participation in the service in no way constitutes or gives rise to an agency, partnership, joint venture or other relationship between you, the Partner and eBay. The Partner and you will each operate under these terms and conditions as an independent contractor and not as an agent for the other. The Partner is the consignee and you are the consignor with respect to your Item(s).

Without limiting other remedies, the Partner may immediately terminate the Services, and refuse to provide future Services to you if: (A) you breach these terms and conditions, (B) the Partner believes that your actions may cause financial loss or legal liability to you, the Partner, eBay or any of their affiliates or customers, or (C) the Partner suspects that you (by conviction, settlement, insurance, or escrow investigation, or otherwise) have engaged in fraudulent activity in connection with the Item(s).

Warranty disclaimer

The Partner provides its Services “as is” and “as available” and without any warranty, condition or representation as to the Services, of any kind, express, implied or statutory. The Partner specifically DISCLAIMS ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF TITLE, MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT. In addition, to the extent permitted by applicable law, the Partner is not liable, and you agree not to hold the Partner responsible, for any damages or losses (including, but not limited to, loss of money, goodwill or reputation, profits, or other intangible losses or any special, indirect, consequential, or punitive damages) resulting directly or indirectly from the Services or your use of the service.

Some states do not allow the disclaimer of implied warranties or exclusion of damages, so the foregoing disclaimer may not apply to you in such states. You may also have other legal rights that vary from state to state.

Regardless of the previous paragraphs, if the Partner is found to be liable, such liability to you or to any third party is limited to the greater of (a) value of the Item(s) you attempted to consign (if not sold on eBay.com, based on average selling price of comparable items sold on eBay.com in the previous 90 days) and (b) $500.

Notices will be deemed received upon receipt of written continuation of transmission when sent by facsimile or signing for receipt of delivery if sent by overnight courier. Notices will be sent to you at the addresses provided. The failure of either party to require performance by the other party of any provision hereof will not affect the full right to require such performance at any time thereafter; nor will the waiver by either party of a breach of any provision hereof be taken or held to be a waiver of the provision itself. In the event that any provision of these terms and conditions are unenforceable or invalid under any applicable law or be so held by applicable court decision, such unenforceability or invalidity will not render these terms and conditions unenforceable or invalid as a whole and in such event, such provisions will be changed and interpreted so as to best accomplish the objectives of such unenforceable or invalid provision within the limits of applicable law or applicable court decisions.
