eBay Bucks is a rewards program that lets you earn eBay Bucks on qualifying purchases. We don't charge a fee to sign up, and there's no fee to earn and use eBay Bucks.
eBay Bucks overview
To start earning eBay Bucks, sign up for the program, and then shop on eBay just as you do today. Once enrolled, you automatically earn a percentage of the item price of your qualifying purchases in the form of eBay Bucks. When you earn eBay Bucks in a calendar quarter (every 3 months), we send you an eBay Bucks Certificate after the quarter ends. Once we issue your eBay Bucks Certificate, you have 30 days to use it.
To participate in eBay Bucks you need to:
Be a US or Canada resident.
Be an eBay member in good standing (with no holds or suspensions).
Purchase a qualifying item (marked with a Bucks icon).
You can earn:
Up to $100 in eBay Bucks per transaction (regardless of the number of items purchased in that transaction)
Up to $500 in eBay Bucks per participant per 3-month earning period

Join eBay Bucks at eBay Bucks Rewards Enrollment.
Once you sign up, look for the Bucks icon in listing details, and shop as you already do. We'll track how many eBay Bucks you earn.
Most eBay items are eligible for eBay Bucks with a few exceptions, such as real estate and vehicles. See the complete list of qualifying purchases.
The Bucks icon and information appears in the listing of qualifying items. Most items qualify for eBay Bucks, as long as they're:
Items you bid on or bought after enrolling in the program
Listed on eBay.com or eBay.ca
Purchases from these categories don't qualify for eBay Bucks:
eBay Motors categories (excluding purchases from Parts & Accessories)
Coins & Paper Money > Bullion
eBay Gift Cards, Gift Cards and Digital Gift purchases in the Gift Cards & Coupons category
Business & Industrial > Heavy Equipment
Redeeming your eBay Bucks
Earn eBay Bucks in a calendar quarter and we'll send you an eBay Bucks Certificate after the quarter ends. Your eBay Bucks Certificate is good for 30 days.
To redeem your eBay Bucks Certificate:
Sign in to eBay with the user ID you used to sign up for eBay Bucks.
Pay for your item before the expiration date on your eBay Bucks Certificate. In eBay checkout, your eBay Bucks Certificate appears next to the item subtotal.
Select the checkbox to apply the eBay Bucks amount to your subtotal.
In some cases, the eBay Bucks Certificate won't appear during checkout. If you know you have an eBay Bucks Certificate available, you can still redeem it.
To redeem your eBay Bucks Certificate manually:
Get your certificate code from the eBay Bucks section of My eBay.
Continue to eBay checkout to make your purchase.
Enter your code in the Coupons, gift cards or certificates promotional box at the bottom of the checkout page.
Things to keep in mind:
We track eBay Bucks quarterly (every 3 months) based on calendar months, not every 3 months from the date you sign up.
A $0.00 balance appears at the start of each new earning period for all eBay Bucks members.
Your eBay Bucks Certificate expires on the 31st day after it's issued.
You can't transfer your eBay Bucks Certificate to someone else, and you can't combine eBay Bucks earned on multiple accounts.
Bucks bonus offers
In some cases, you can earn eBay Bucks even faster with Bucks bonus offers and promotional selling offers. For example, during some promotions, you can earn double Bucks on every eligible purchase. When bonus offers are available, you can keep track of them in the eBay Bucks section of My eBay. You normally see information about bonus offers when you view and purchase items that qualify.
Leaving the eBay Bucks program
If you decide to leave the eBay Bucks program, go to the eBay Bucks section of My eBay and click unenroll from eBay Bucks. You forfeit any eBay Bucks or eBay Bucks Certificates when you leave the program.
Re-enrolling in eBay Bucks
You can enroll in eBay Bucks again any time. The eBay Bucks you accumulated before you left the program won't be available, but you start earning eBay Bucks again as soon as you re-enroll.
