Some program benefits may vary by PowerSeller sales level or by a seller's detailed seller ratings (DSRs). The PowerSeller and Top Rated seller programs and benefits are FREE for all who qualify.

Top Rated seller discount on final value fees
The requirements for and benefits of Top Rated seller status changed June 1, 2012. Read more.

US sellers who are Top Rated sellers receive a 20% discount on final value fees for listings that include 1-day or shorter handling time and have a 14-day returns policy with money-back option listed on eBay.com.

Unpaid Item Protection
Although all sellers receive a final value fee credit when the seller closes an Unpaid Item dispute, and an insertion fee credit by relisting and selling the item the second time, US and Canadian PowerSellers and Top Rated sellers also receive credit for listing feature fees for eligible listing formats and features as noted below.

No sign up is required for Unpaid Item Protection. PowerSellers and Top Rated sellers automatically receive the feature fee credits when an Unpaid Item dispute is closed, as long as PowerSeller or Top Rated seller status is retained from the listing start date through the date when the Unpaid Item dispute closes. Note that sellers must have an account in good financial standing (no overdue balances) and be a registered user (not suspended) when the fees are credited back.
