Selling Manager – Using the Unsold View

The Unsold View in Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro shows all of your listings that ended without a buyer. These items either received no bids, the reserve price was not met, or were fixed price or multiple item (Dutch) auction items with some quantity remaining.

To access the Unsold View of Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro, click the Unsold link on the left side of your My eBay page. You must subscribe to Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro before this feature will be available.

From the Unsold View you can:

Relisting unsold items

You can relist items through the Unsold View. The Status column shows if your item has been relisted or not. If the status icon is blue, your unsold listing has been relisted. Items with a gray relist icon will be eligible for our free relist policy. The color of the Status icon will help you know if you will get insertion fees waived when you relist your item. Only the first relist qualifies for an Insertion Fee credit.

To relist an unsold item:
  1. While in the Unsold View, check the box next to the listings that you want to relist.
To select all of your Unsold listings, check the box in the heading bar above your listings.

  2. Click the triangle  icon in the Actions column to display the drop-down menu.

  3. Select Relist. A revise your item form opens. The item number will be filled in for you.

    • If you selected only one listing, you will be taken to the Sell Your Item form, which will be filled in for you with all of the listing information.

    • If you selected more than one listing, you will be taken to a review page. You will not be able to change any of the listings' properties from this page. To make changes, you need to use the Revise Your Item form for each individual listing after it becomes active.

  4. Review your listings and confirm

Sell Similar Item

You can use the Sell Similar Item feature to list an exact copy of one of your active items. For example, if one of your active listings is doing well, you can quickly list more of these items without filling out additional Sell Your Item forms.

To create and list a copy of an unsold item:
  1. While in the Unsold View, check the box next to the listings that you want to copy.
To select all of your Unsold items, check the box in the heading bar above your listings.

  2. Click the triangle  icon in the Actions column to display the drop-down menu.

  3. Select Sell Similar. A Sell Your Item form opens with the listing details already filled in for you to match the listing that you selected.

  4. Review your listings and confirm

Adding notes

You can save personal comments for any item in Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro.

To add a note:
  1. From the Unsold View, check the box next to the listing you want to add a note for.

  2. Click the Add Note button.

  3. Enter the text.

  4. Click on the Save button to save the note. The note will then display below the item in Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro. Your notes will only be visible to you.

Deleting unsold items

If you don't want to relist certain unsold items, you can delete them from your Unsold View. Once you delete these listings, they will no longer appear in any of your views.

To delete an item:
  1. While in the Unsold View, check the box next to the listings that you want to delete: To auto-select all of your Unsold listings, check the box in the blue heading bar above your listings.

  2. Click the Delete button. A confirmation page displays.

  3. If you still want to delete the listings, click the Delete button. You will be taken back to your Unsold View, and a confirmation message will appear at the top of the page.
