Reach more buyers and generate more interest in your item by listing in two categories. For example, you could list a vintage table from Japan in both the Asian Antiques category and the Antique Furniture category.
Fees
Listing in two categories increases your insertion fee and the fees for most listing upgrades (for example, bold font). The fees for scheduled listings, Motors Home Page Featured, and final value fees remain the same whether you list in one category or two.
For specific fee information, see the listing upgrade section of Fees for selling on eBay.
eBay.com category restrictions
Sellers can list in any two categories across the site except the following:
Adult items: You may not list an adult-oriented item in category outside of eBay's Adult Only section. If you do, your item will be moved to the appropriate category and no fees will be refunded. You can list your item in two subcategories within Adult Only. Please review our Adult Only category policy.
Real estate: Listing in two categories isn't available.
Multiple items auctions: If you have multiple items for sale and would like to list in two categories, we recommend that you split up your items and list the two lots in different categories.
Multiple item listings with variations: When listing with variations, you might want to consider listing in one category only. Currently, most categories permit variations within:
Clothing, Shoes & Accessories
Listings with variations depend on variation details and item specifics that might not be available in a second category. If you select a second category that does not allow listings with variations, you won’t be able to create variations in the listing.
Business & Industrial: Listing in two categories isn't available for Capital Equipment.
Motor Vehicles: Listing in two categories isn't available.
Note: As always, please list your item in appropriate categories. We investigate complaints and will move your item if necessary.
eBay Motors vehicle parts and accessories
You can get exposure for vehicle parts and accessories on both eBay.com and eBay Motors with one listing.
For example you can list:
A car stereo in the Parts & Accessories category of Motors as a primary category and the Consumer Electronics category on eBay.com as a second category.
An item on eBay.com in any category and choose Parts & Accessories on eBay Motors as a second category.
An item on eBay Motors in the Parts & Accessories category as a primary category and choose a second category on eBay.com.
A car stereo in the Consumer Electronics category on eBay.com as a primary category and the Parts & Accessories category on eBay Motors as a second category.
An item in two different Parts & Accessories categories on eBay Motors.
Note: Listing in two categories applies to vehicle parts and accessories only. You can't list in two categories when you are selling a motor vehicle.
