As a Selling Manager Pro user, you can revise and relist your listings by:
Using automation rules
Using default description footers
Tracking inventory quantity
Using product and listing templates
Editing multiple listings
Automation Rules
Using the automation rules feature, you can set up listing templates to list and relist products automatically.
Selling Manager Pro enables you to create and store default description footers (a standard return policy or packaging method, for example). You can add them to the end of your item description whenever you list an item. To add default description footers, see eBay Preferences .
When you revise or relist an item, the description footer from your original item description is automatically included in the description. If you select the option to add a default footer, and already have a default footer in your original item, the footer will be appended to your description and you will have two copies of your footer information. Tip: To create a different Default Description Footer to your revised listing, manually delete the old default description footer from the Description field in the Revise Your Item page, and select the "Default Description Footer" check box.
Using tracking inventory quantity
If you use Selling Manager Pro to track the quantity of a product, and you revise the quantity of the listing, you will be notified on the Promote and Review Your Listing page if your revised quantity exceeds the product's available to list quantity. You will be provided with a link to update your quantity.
If you are revising or relisting a product with a listing template, the Promote and Review Your Listing page shows the following options:
Submit Only - Selecting this option does not save the changes that you made to your listing template but continues tracking it with the listing template's success ratio.
Save edits to my current Selling Manager Pro listing template - Selecting this option saves the changes that you made to your listing template and continues tracking it with the listing template's success ratio.
Save edits to a new Selling Manager Pro listing template - Selecting this option creates a new template and tracks this item with the new template's success ratio.
If you are revising or relisting a product whose listing template no longer exists, only two options appear:
Submit Only - Selecting this option submits the listing without saving any of the changes to a template.
Save edits to a new listing - Selecting this option creates a new template and tracks this item with the new template's success ratio.
If you are revising or relisting an item that is not associated with a product, the Promote and Review Your Listing page will be identical to the regular one for non-Selling Manager Pro users. Once you create a product, either in Selling Manager Pro or the Sell Your Item form, you can then use the details in Sell Your Item or create a listing template based on that product.
Limitations on number of products and templates
A product cannot have more than 20 associated listing templates. Before you attempt to save a revised listing as a new listing template, be sure that you have fewer than 20 listing templates associated with your product. If you attempt to save a revised listing as a 21st template, your listing will be revised, but your listing template will not be saved.
