How does Selling Manger affect the regular checkout process?
  • Seller discounts and charges - Sometimes a buyer will talk to a seller about a transaction offline (via phone, email), and the seller may agree to apply certain extra charges or discounts. This field enables buyers to enter these charges. They are also reflected in the seller's Sales Record in Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro.

  • Email and shipping address - Once a buyer successfully completes checkout, the email and shipping address information are automatically filled in for the seller in the Sales Record in Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro. The checkout status icon is also updated automatically in Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro.

  • Sending Invoices - Checkout enables sellers to send an invoice to the buyer without Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro. Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro users often send their own invoice using the Email Buyer function. These invoices work independently of each other and are designed to allow the seller the most control and flexibility.
