Selling on eBay is a great way to make extra money - and have fun doing it!

To get started, click the Sell button at the top of most eBay pages, and then on the next page,click the Start selling button.  We’ll guide you through the process of listing your item step-by-step, including helping you find the best category. Selecting the right category is important as it helps buyers find your listing.

Before you sell on eBay you must:

• Be a registered member and

• Become a seller.

Before you list an item:

• Look for similar items that have recently sold on eBay to help you select the best category, price, or learn your item’s potential value.

How to search for similar items:

Search for items that sold (completed listings) following these steps:

Alternatively, click the Sell one like this link at the bottom of an item's page that’s similar to the one you’re selling. This takes you to the Create your listing form.

Note: Review your listing for accuracy. Do not copy the title, description or photos from another seller’s listing.
