eBay Motors allows you to require a deposit from your buyer.

For vehicles, you specify the deposit amount only when you list your vehicle. Shipping, tax, or insurance amounts are not required. The buyer may pay the deposit amount through eBay's payment system. They may then use other payment means to complete the balance of the vehicle purchase.

If you are a licensed vehicle dealer, deposit acceptance is subject to applicable laws in your state.

If you are using Buy It Now, you can also specify an immediate payment of deposit.
