If you're selling a lower-priced car, you can save money on your sale using a Motors Local Classified Ad. With this option, your listing is fixed within 100 miles of your vehicle. Buyers find local listings in the standard search results pages based on the distance they specify in their search.
The listing duration for Motors Local Classified Ads is 7 days.
Because your sale is handled outside of eBay, Motors Local Classified Ads don't include eBay services such as Feedback and resolving transaction problems in the Resolution Center.
Some advantages of using a Motors Local Classified Ad are:
As in traditional classified ads, you state a price and the buyer contacts you.
You and the buyer can negotiate a price.
Buyers like local listings because they can take a look at the vehicle and meet the seller before the sale.
Buyers can find your ad when they search for a vehicle, and they will find local listings faster when they enter a ZIP code or use the Find Local Vehicles search on Motors.
Creating a Motors Local Classified Ad
To create a Motors Local Classified Ad:On the eBay.com home page, click Motors.
Click Sell at the top of the page.
Click the Sell Your Item button.
Select your category, and then click the Save and continue button.
In the Sell Locally section, click the Select
button, and then follow the instructions.
Fees for Motors Local Classified Ads
You're charged a flat insertion fee based on the number of Local Classified Ads you place over a 12-month period:
7 to 12 listings: $15.00 each
13 or more listings: $30.00 each.
There's no fee for a successful listing. Optional feature and listing upgrade fees still apply.
Revising and relisting a local listing
When you revise a local listing, you can't change its category or location to make it appear in search results beyond your local area.

If you want to sell your vehicle nationally, or use an auction-style or fixed price format, follow these steps:On the eBay.com home page, click Motors.
Click Sell at the top of the page.
Click the Sell Your Item button.
Select your category, and then click the Save and continue button.
In the Sell Nationally section, click the Select button and follow the online instructions.
