If you'd prefer to find a local buyer for your vehicle, you can do so by using a Motors Local Classified Ad. With this option, your listing is fixed within 200 miles of your vehicle. Buyers find local listings in the standard search results pages based on the distance they specify in their search.
To list a vehicle with Motors Local Classifieds, you need to register as an eBay member, but you won't need to create a seller account. After you complete your ad, we'll simply verify your account with a phone call.
The listing duration for Motors Local Classified Ads is 7 days.
Because your sale is handled outside of eBay, Motors Local Classified Ads don't include eBay services such as Feedback and the Resolution Center.
Some advantages of using a Motors Local Classified Ad are:
Like a traditional classified ad, you state a price and the buyer contacts you.
You and the buyer can negotiate a price.
Buyers like local listings because they can take a look at the vehicle and meet the seller before the sale.
Buyers can find your ad when they search for a vehicle, and they will find local listings faster when they enter a ZIP code or use the Find Local Vehicles search on Motors.
