Specifying your donation payment method
When you start selling with eBay Giving Works you need to put a payment method on file for making donations. By default, your donation payment method is the same as your automatic payment method
for paying eBay fees. The following chart describes how payment methods are handled:
If your fees payment method and donation payment method are the same |
We'll keep these two payment methods in sync so that if you change your fees payment method your donation payment method will automatically be changed, too. |
If your fees payment method and donation payment method are different |
The two payment methods are not automatically kept in sync. You'll need to update your donation payment method as needed. |
You can only have one donation payment method on file at a time. If you add a new method, the old one will be deleted.
To change your donation payment method:Go to My eBay. You may be asked to sign in.
Find the Donation Payment Method section.
You'll see 3 options for the donation payment method:
Click the Edit button next to the donation payment method you want to put on file. (You may be asked to sign in again.)

Note: If you have overdue donations, PayPal Giving Fund will collect them automatically as soon as you've selected your new donation payment method.
