The catalog adoption tool helps you to match your listings in certain electronics categories to a product from the eBay catalog.
Using the catalog adoption tool
The catalog adoption tool shows a list of all the items you are currently selling in our electronics categories that aren't already matched to a product in the eBay catalog. The catalog adoption tool will display all unmatched items listed in the following categories:

To use the catalog adoption tool:You'll see a list of your unmatched electronics listings. If we can find a likely match to a product from the eBay catalog, we'll suggest it. If the suggestion is correct, select that item by ticking the box next to it. If there isn't a recommendation or if the recommendation isn’t correct, click Search for more product then select the correct match. Alternatively, search directly for your product in the search box that appears. We recommend searching for brand and model.
If you can’t find a match, it might mean that your product is in the wrong category. If this is the case, use the My item isn't in the right category and I'd like to change it option. If you’re sure your product isn't in the catalogue, use the No products match my item option.
Once you've chosen matches for all the products that have them, click Submit changes.
Note: The catalog adoption tool doesn't add, remove, or modify any other detail, such as photos, product information, and listing description.
Once submitted, the changes can't be reversed using the catalog adoption tool.
If there isn't a match for your item
If we can't find a match for your item, it may be because your listing doesn't have enough information in the title or item specifics section. In those cases, we suggest you manually search for a matching product from the eBay catalog.
Listings that can't be revised
Even listings that can't be revised will appear in the catalog adoption tool. If you try to revise those items by matching them to a product in the catalog, you'll see an error message at the top of the page. Find out more about restrictions on revising listings.
