1-day listings are normally used when you want to sell an item quickly and an item is time sensitive, such as concert tickets or vacation packages.

When should I offer a 1-day listing?

Offer a 1-day listing if:  

• You want to sell items quickly in an auction-style format, including listings with a Buy It Now option.

  Note: The 1-day listing option is not available for Stores format listings.

• You're selling time-sensitive items (for example, event tickets, airline tickets, vacation packages, tee times, food, etc.).

• You're a high volume seller listing a lot of identical items. With 1-day listings, you can offer more listings for identical items per week than with any other auction-style listing duration. Currently we allow you to list only 15 identical items simultaneously. If you're a high volume seller, the 1-day listing format lets you offer up to 105 listings for identical items per week, compared to only 30 per week with the 3-day listing format.

• You want to take advantage of event-based marketing (for example, 1-day-only product releases).

• You want to attract more last-minute shoppers during the holiday season. You can schedule 1-day listings as close to the holiday as possible. 1-day listings give you the advantage of being able to mail sold items to reach your buyers in time for the holiday.

What are the seller requirements for a 1-day listing?

You need to meet one of the following requirements:

• Have a Feedback score of at least 10

• Have a Feedback score of at least 5, a PayPal account in good standing, and accept PayPal payments for the listing

• Be ID Verified

How soon will a 1-day listing appear on eBay?

Listings and pictures are updated throughout the day, so your listing will be added at the next update. However, your listing may not be immediately searchable until several hours after you've added or changed it.

Note: To make your listings searchable at a specific time, you can schedule them a day in advance. Although your listings will generally be searchable within 24 hours, there may be times when it can take longer.

Can I change the duration of a 1-day listing?

You can't change the duration of a 1-day listing if 2 or more hours have passed since you submitted the listing.

How can I increase the visibility of my 1-day listing? 

One of the best ways to increase visibility is to meet the requirements for Best Match. You can also promote your item with listing upgrades to make your listing stand out from the crowd.

The fine print

1-day listings are not available for eBay Motors Vehicle or Adult Only categories in the U.S. or Canada. For Trust and Safety reasons, some items may not be eligible for 1-day listings.

All listings that are running during the Daylight Savings change will still receive the full amount of exposure. For example, if you have a 1-day listing that you started at 1:00 PM Pacific time on the second Saturday in March, it will end at 2:00 PM Pacific time on the second Sunday in March.
