Searching using the eBay Toolbar

The eBay Toolbar makes it easy to search both eBay and the web. You can also use search options to make your search more efficient.
Searching eBay
To search eBay using the eBay Toolbar:
Select eBay from the drop-down menu.

Enter your keywords into the search box.
Click the Search eBay button to see your results.
For other eBay search options, click the arrow to the right of the Search eBay button to display the list of search options and select one from the drop-down menu.
Searching the Web with Yahoo!
To search the web with Yahoo! using the eBay Toolbar:
Make sure the Yahoo! logo is in the search box. If it isn't, select Yahoo! from the drop-down menu.

Enter your keywords into the search box.
Click the Search Web button to see your results.
For other web search options, click the arrow to the right of the Search Web button to display the list of search options and select one from the drop-down menu.
Changing search settings
The eBay Toolbar can help you save time searching your favorite eBay categories. The Search eBay menu contains the Recent Searches submenu, which displays your 5 most recent eBay searches.
To change how many searches are displayed:
On the eBay Toolbar, click the Options button and go to the Search section in the Display Preferences tab.
In the Show last option, click the arrow and select the number of searches you want displayed.
To clear this list, click the arrow to the right of the Search eBay button and select Clear Recent Searches.
You can also set the type of search that eBay Toolbar performs when you click the Search eBay or Search Web buttons or press Enter after typing a search term.
To change your search settings:
In the eBay Toolbar, click the Options button. The Toolbar Options pop-up displays.
Click the Display Preferences tab to change your search preferences. By default, the search type is Titles and Descriptions.
