Human remains and body parts policy

Policy overview

We don't allow humans, the human body, or any human body parts or products to be listed on eBay, with the exception of items containing human scalp hair.

Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

What are the guidelines?

  • Items that contain human scalp hair (such as lockets or wigs)

If you are selling a first-class relic, you must state in the item description what the relic is made from. If it's a human remain it can't be sold if it's made from any body part except human scalp hair.
