To support the government and the transit industry's efforts in ensuring public safety, we don't allow selling most government, mass transit, and shipping-related items, including uniforms and internal documents. Please understand that there are also federal regulations either banning or restricting the sale of these items.
There are a few items, though, that can be sold on eBay. See our guidelines below for more details.
Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including restrictions of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

Why does eBay have this policy?
There are strict federal regulations banning or restricting the sale of government, transit, and shipping-related items. Along with buyers and sellers on eBay, we have to comply with those regulations. So most of these items can't be listed on eBay.
