Policy overview
Want It Now is a place where buyers can tell sellers exactly what they're looking for by posting a message (want ads) to the Want It Now area. Sellers review these messages and respond to the buyer with the item number of their matching listing.
Want It Now postings are allowed only in the Want It Now area of eBay and have to follow eBay policies. Responses to Want It Now posts should be about the item in the post.
Make sure you follow these guidelines. If you don't, you may be subject to a range of actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

Why does eBay have this policy? Want It Now is designed to help buyers post want ads for items or services and provide a way for sellers to respond to those ads. Use of the feature for any other purpose or to post want ads that don't follow eBay policies is not allowed.
