Sexually-oriented adult material is meant for people who are 18 years and older. We allow the sale of this material, but you can only list these items in the Everything Else > Adult Only category.
You can find the limited exceptions to this policy in the guidelines section below. The guidelines explain what's OK to list, what you can't list, and where you should list these items. Additionally, you need to follow any applicable laws or shipping restrictions for adult material.
Make sure your listing follows these guidelines. If it doesn't, it may be removed, and you may be subject to a range of other actions, including limits of your buying and selling privileges and suspension of your account.

In addition to the pre-approval requirements for sellers, items listed in the Sexual Wellness category must meet the following listing requirements:
Must be new and offered in their original packaging
If you want to learn more about becoming an approved seller of sex toys and accessories, please send an email to DL-eBay-SWverify@ebay.com with the subject line: Sexual Wellness. Please include your user ID and contact information.

Any used clothing item with content we find to be inappropriate. We consider the overall content of the listing, including the description and images, when making this assessment.
eBay defines nudity as male/female genitalia, anus, or female breasts where the areola or nipple is visible. Butts (male or female), bare male chests, or female breasts where the areola is not visible aren't considered nudity. We won't determine if an item constitutes art, but we'll review the content of the listing description, images, and categories to determine if an item should be removed.
Images of full nudity (including photos of explicit sexual activity) are only permitted in the Adult Only category.
Frontal nudity is allowed in Art categories when the item is considered fine art, such as Michelangelo's David, vintage pin-up art, Renaissance-style paintings, and nude cherubs.

Unrated films that contain explicit sexual content must be listed in the Adult Only category.

Professional headshots for child actors and models are permitted.
Some works of art and films will contain underage actors or models that appear nude in the work. These items may be allowed to be listed as long as the listing doesn't include nude images of minors and doesn't promote the sexualization of minors.
Items that contain nude images of minors aren't generally permitted on eBay.
Underage modeling photos are generally not permitted even if the subject is fully clothed.

Is profanity allowed on eBay? Most profanity is prohibited. For more information, see our profanity policy.
Can buyers use PayPal to buy items in the Adult Only category? Sellers can offer PayPal as a payment method for adult-themed items, along with merchant credit cards, personal checks, cashier's checks, money orders, and payment upon pickup. For more information on payment methods, see our accepted payments policy.

What are the requirements for using the Adult Only category? To make sure minors aren't freely accessing adult material, we require members to provide credit card information or alternative verification before they can view Adult Only pages.
Can listings include links that promote adult websites? To help promote their listings, sellers can only include links to their own websites and additional images as long as they follow our links andacknowledging third-party providers policies. (Listings reported to us for violations of these policies are reviewed based on the content of the listing and not the item itself.)
Why does eBay have this policy?
We want to create an atmosphere that mirrors real life, where adults can purchase legal items, but people who are offended by these kinds of materials don't have to see them.
