You can use eBay and PayPal to create shipping labels and packing slips for items you've sold on eBay.

Use eBay to print US Postal Service and FedEx labels, or to print several USPS labels at once. Use PayPal to print USPS and UPS labels.

Printing labels on eBay is free. You only need to pay the shipping cost and the cost of any shipping services you choose, such as signature confirmation.

This page covers how to ship items you've sold on eBay. Printing return shipping labels for eBay hassle-free returns is a different process. Learn more about hassle-free returns.

Why print shipping labels on eBay?

Printing labels and packing slips on eBay can save you time, effort, and money.

You don't need a special sticky label. Just print on a piece of paper and tape it to the package.
Services, including delivery confirmation and signature confirmation, are less expensive if you print labels online instead of buying them at the post office.
Example: When you add delivery confirmation when printing a label on eBay, it costs $0.19. When you buy it at the post office, it's between $0.70 and $0.80. You can see your USPS discount when you buy postage on eBay.
When you include shipping information in your listing, it appears on the shipping label.
You can insure the package. (Note: UPS and FedEx provide declared value coverage.) You see the insurance confirmation on your receipt and the shipping label.
Tracking and delivery confirmation are automatically uploaded to eBay. You can check the status of shipped items in the Shipping Labels section of My eBay, and so can the buyer.
Tracking information, delivery confirmation, and signature confirmation can help you resolve an issue if the buyer reports that they didn't receive the item. Learn more about the eBay Money Back Guarantee.
You can receive a delivery confirmation email when the buyer receives the package. This feature is available free with USPS Priority Mail or for a minimal charge with other USPS services. If you use free carrier pickup for USPS Priority Mail or Priority Mail Express, you can avoid a trip to the post office.
You can have your PayPal account automatically billed for USPS and UPS labels without having to sign in to PayPal each time you print a label.
You can add custom text to shipping labels.
If you create multiple USPS labels, you can combine orders in single shipments.
