Calculating dimensional weight

To calculate dimensional weight on your own, use this formula:

Dimensional Weight = (length x width x height)/194. You should round up the result.

For example, if your package is 15" x 12" x 12":
(15 x 12 x 12) = 2160 / 194 = 11.1 -> 12

Size limits

UPS supports packages up to 165 inches in length plus girth.

Length is the longest side of a package. Girth is defined as the length of the string you would need if you wrapped it around the two smaller sides of a package.

If the longest side of your package is over 60 inches or the second longest side is over 30 inches, it is considered an irregular sized package. You should select the Irregular package option when you list your item.
