As a registered member of eBay, you can save searches, sign up to receive an email when a new item from one of your saved searches is listed, and track and manage all of your eBay activities from one place — My eBay.
If, however, you haven't registered yet, you can use My eBay for Guests to keep track of items in a Watch List and to subscribe to email reminders about your watched items.
Once you register, you can move the items from My eBay for Guests to your new My eBay registered account.
To get started, go to My eBay for Guests or click the My eBay button at the top of most eBay pages, then click the I’m A Guest button.
Watching Items
As a guest, you can track up to 10 items that you're interested in buying. (As a registered user, you can watch up to 200 items.)
Important: When you use My eBay for Guests, other users on the same computer can also view and delete your watched items.
To add an item to your Watching list, click the Watch this item link on any item page.
To view the list of items you’re watching, click the My eBay button at the top of most pages. Note: As a guest, you can view your Items I'm Watching list only on the computer from which you added the items.
To bid on an item in your Items I'm Watching list, click the Bid Now button.
Subscribing to Watched Item email reminders
You can sign up to receive an email reminder a few hours before items in your watch list end.
Note: This option is only available if you have at least one watched item.
To subscribe to watched item email reminders: From the My eBay for Guests page, click the “Sign up for Watched Item emails” link.
Enter your email address in the box, and click the Continue button. You’ll receive a confirmation email from eBay to verify your address.
Follow the instructions in the email to confirm. You will then receive email reminders for the items in your watch list.
Note: If you add more items to your watch list later, you will need to re-enter and re-confirm your email address to receive reminders for those new items. If you’d like eBay to remember your email information and to access all the features in My eBay, please register.
Moving Watched Items to your My eBay registered account
Once you register, you can move your watched items from My eBay for Guests to your new My eBay registered account.
To move items once you’ve registered:Sign out of your My eBay registered account.
Click the My eBay button located at the top of most pages.
Review your Watching list. If there are any items you don’t want to keep, delete them from the list.
Click the Sign In button. The items are added to the My eBay page.
Important: To move your items, you must use the Sign In button, not the Sign in link at the top of the page.
Must use Buy It Now and PayPal.
