Buying as a guest allows you to try eBay without completing full eBay registration. You can make two purchases using Buy It Now before you will be required to upgrade. As a guest, you’re not allowed to bid on auction-style listings.

Guest buying requirements

• Item must be purchased using Buy It Now.

• Payments must be made by credit card processed by PayPal. PayPal enables you to send payments quickly and securely online. Your credit card information will not be shared with the seller.  

• Item price must be $2000 or less

• Items must be purchased from sellers who have a feedback score of 50 or higher and have a 98% positive rating.

• You can only purchase two items as a guest before you will be required to register as an eBay member.
