There are two reasons why your account might be suspended:
Learning why your account was suspended
If your account is suspended, we’ll notify you by email and tell you what you can do to reinstate your account. You’ll also find this email by going to My eBay and clicking the Messages tab.
If you didn’t receive an email about your suspension, contact us for more information.
Important: Verify that the email is really from us by going to My eBay and checking your messages. Some members have reported attempts to gain access to their personal information through “spoof” or “phishing” emails that impersonate eBay. These emails state that your account is or will be suspended and often contain links to Web pages with a request to sign in and submit information. Don’t be fooled. Learn how to recognize spoof mails.
Resolving a suspension due to non-payment
If you were suspended because you didn’t pay your seller fees, you can reinstate your account by paying your fees. Sometimes, an account may be suspended for non-payment if the automatic payment method you have on file is outdated or has been recently declined. If you have problems updating your automatic payment method, contact us.
