Viewing your donations due
The Donations Due section in My eBay shows donations you owe on your eBay Giving Works listings that sold, including overdue donations. For completed eBay Giving Works sales, you can make your donation in one of two ways:
Have the amount automatically withdrawn from your preferred donation payment method on the donation due date
Automatic donation collection
Your donation will be collected automatically by MissionFish 22 to 28 days after your listing ends successfully, unless you make a one-time payment. Donations are due on the fourth Monday after the listing sells. If your item doesn't sell, no donation is due. MissionFish is the nonprofit organization selected by eBay to administer the eBay Giving Works program.
One-time donation payments
You can make a one-time donation from the Donations Due section in My eBay using either the donation payment method you have on file, or by selecting one of these options:
If your donation is overdue, or your donations due add up to $1,000 or more, you have two additional payment method options:
Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Choosing to make a one-time donation with an alternate payment method doesn't change your donation payment method on file.
By making a one-time donation payment you:
Send your donation to MissionFish more quickly, up to 22 days faster than automatic donation collection
Can select your payment method each time
Have the option to waive your right to request a refund and get your tax receipt right away

Review the details of your donation. You can get your donation to the nonprofit more quickly by selecting to waive your donation refund during the review process.
Note: If you listed an item for a foreign nonprofit organization on an international eBay site, your donation payment method must be Visa or MasterCard. These payment methods ensure that the nonprofit organization will receive your donation in its local currency. Some charges may apply to international transactions.
You can make future donations to the same nonprofit organization through either the automatic donation or the one-time donation process.
You can monitor the status of your donations from your Donation History section.
You can make a donation to a nonprofit without buying or selling anything through the Donate Now process.
Fee credits and donation refunds
Fee credits
When you donate, eBay rewards your generosity with eBay Giving Works fee credits. When your eBay Giving Works item sells, we credit a percentage of the insertion and final value fees back to you, equal to the percentage that you elected to donate.
Your listing must comply with our charity and fundraising policy to qualify for the credit. Fee credits appear on your account within 24 hours after your item sells.
Refunds
When a buyer has not paid for your item, you have the right to request that your donation be refunded (if you’ve already made it), or waived (if you haven’t). To be eligible for a donation refund, you need to submit your request using the Resolution Center within 45 days of the end of your listing.
When you open an unpaid item case, select the Please also refund my eBay Giving Works donation check box before you submit your request. Learn what to do when a buyer doesn’t pay.
Waiving your donation refund
When you make a one-time payment after the buyer has paid for the item, you can waive your right to request a refund during the payment review process. This option lets MissionFish deliver your donation faster. If you don't waive your donation refund, MissionFish holds the donation for at least 45 days to make sure you don’t need the money back.
Note: If you waive your right to a donation refund, your tax receipt will be available immediately.
