eBay Neighborhoods is a place for members to share information about the things they love, and interact with other people who share their interests. A neighborhood includes discussions, photos, listings, reviews, and guides about a specific interest or product.

When you join a neighborhood, it’ll show up in My eBay, as well as on your My World page. You can learn more about:

Joining a neighborhood

To join a neighborhood

Go to Neighborhoods and find a neighborhood by typing in a keyword in the search box.
Click the Join Neighborhood button. You’ll see a drop-down menu that lets you switch between neighborhoods you belong to.

Removing a neighborhood

To remove a neighborhood:

Go to the My Neighborhoods page.
On the right side of the page, click the Unjoin link next to the neighborhood you want to remove.

Adding reviews and guides

If your content isn’t showing up in a neighborhood, you'll need to have more content related to the neighborhood.
Or, add more related keywords within your reviews or guides. For example, if your neighborhood is the San Francisco Giants, then add baseball, SF Giants, or more Giants-related terms.

Inviting friends

To invite friends to join your neighborhood:

Click the Invite friends button.
Enter your friend's email address. You can only invite one person at a time.
Enter a personal note, or use the message we provided.
Click the Send Message button.

Suggesting a new neighborhood

To suggest a new neighborhood:

Click the Suggest button.
Enter a name for your neighborhood.
Enter a short description of what you think the neighborhood should be about.
Enter some keywords or words related to the neighborhood.
Include a reason why you think it's important.
Click the Send Message button.
