You can manage your account information from My eBay. To go to My eBay, click My eBay at the top of most eBay pages.

Change your personal information

To change your personal information, including your user ID, email address, password, secret question, phone number, PIN, and About me page, follow these steps:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. From My eBay, click the Account tab.

3. Click the Personal Information link.

4. Click the Edit link next to the information you want to update.

Tips

• Don’t use a fax or pager number as your telephone number.

• If you change your email address, you’ll need access to the updated email address to complete the process. The new address takes effect immediately.

• Email addresses that automatically forward to another email address may cause emails from us to be blocked or sent to your junk mail folder.

Change your address

To change your registration, payment, or primary shipping address:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the Addresses link.

4. Click the Change link next to the address you want to update.
   

To change your email address:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the Personal Information link.

4. Next to Registered email address, click the Edit link.

Change your notification preferences

To change which notifications you receive and how often you receive them:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the Notifications Preferences link.

4. Click the Show All link at the top of the page to see your current settings and change your preferences.

Manage your PayPal account

To view and update your PayPal account information:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the PayPal Account link. Learn how to link your PayPal and eBay accounts.

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the Subscriptions link.

How do I create a PIN?

To change or create a telephone PIN:

1. Go to My eBay.

2. Click the Account tab.

3. Click the Personal Information link.

To change your phone number:

6. Update your phone number and click the change registration information button.
