You can manage your account information from My eBay. (The information you see in My eBay is private. No other eBay member can see it.)

Changing your personal information

Go to My eBay, and select the Account tab. Click the “Personal Information” link to update your information, including:

• User ID

• Registration information

• Password

• Secret question

• About me page

• Email address for communicating with eBay and other members

• Account type - individual or business account

• Mobile phone for SMS alerts and an instant message alert provider

Tips

• Don’t use a fax or pager number as your telephone number.

• If you change your email address, you’ll need access to the updated email address to complete the process. The  new address takes effect immediately

• Email addresses that automatically forward to another email address will invalidate the digital signature that we put on email we send. Some email providers interpret an invalid signature as a spoof (fake) email and block these messages or deliver them to your junk mail folder.

Changing your mailing address

Go to My eBay and select the Account tab. Click the “Addresses” link, then click the “change” link on the right side of the page to update any of the following addresses:

• Registration address: Your registration address is your main contact address.

• Payment address: Your payment address is where you'd like buyers to send payments. It’s only displayed to winning bidders or buyers if you accept checks or money orders by mail.

• Primary shipping address: Your primary shipping address is where you'd like to receive the items you buy. (You can have multiple shipping addresses on file in your shipping address book.) Your primary shipping address always appears by default when you pay using the Pay Now button.

Changing your notification preferences

Go to My eBay and select the Account tab. Click the “Notification Preferences” link to specify how and when you receive email, newsletters, and promotions from us. Learn more about changing your preferences.

Accessing your PayPal account

To access your PayPal account, go to My eBay and select the Account tab. Click the “PayPal Account” link for secure access to your PayPal account information including your account overview, account history, and profile summary. Learn how to link your PayPal account to your eBay account.

Managing your seller account and paying seller fees

Go to My eBay and select the Account tab. Click the “Seller Account” link to view your balance, the total of your latest invoice amount, payments, credits, and refunds. You can also set up or make automatic payments or one-time payments.

Managing subscriptions

Go to My eBay and select the Account tab. Click the “Subscriptions” link to subscribe to any of eBay’s advanced selling tools including:

• eBay File Exchange

• eBay Stores

• Selling Manager and Selling Manager Pro

• Blackthorne Basic and Blackthorne Pro

• Sales Reports

• Picture Manager
