What does it cost to ship my system?

Most systems can be shipped in the U.S. for $4 to $14 via USPS Parcel Post. The cost to ship your system depends on its size and weight (it costs less to ship a Game Boy Advance than it does an Xbox) and how far you are shipping it.
What should I charge for shipping in my eBay listing?

Since you won't know where you are shipping your system before it sells, you can either estimate a fixed amount based on the size and weight of your system or you can use a Shipping Calculator that lets you vary your shipping price depending upon how far you have to ship your system.
The Shipping Calculator lets potential buyers plug in their zip code to see what it would cost to ship your game system to them. You can use the Shipping Calculator in your eBay listing by following three steps:

When you list your item using the Sell Your Item form, go to the Shipping & sales tax section and click the 'Calculated' tab. 2. Enter the Estimated Weight of the item |

Enter the Estimated Weight of the item (most game systems range from 1 to 8 lbs) and select the Package Size you'll be using (most game systems fit in the size called "Package (or thick envelope)". |

Enter any handling fee you may have (buyers will see one total cost), and indicate whether insurance is optional. If required, enter the insurance cost. |
That's it! The Shipping Calculator will appear in your listing, and it will automatically transfer the total shipping cost for payments, postage, invoices and shipping labels.
