Formatting Listings

Adding Item Condition with Item Specifics to multiple listings
You can edit multiple listings including the following:
  • Item details (Subtitle, Quantity, Item Condition, Store Categories).
  • Selling price.
  • Payment methods accepted.
  • Optional listing upgrades.
To edit multiple listings:
  1. Go to My eBay and click “All Selling.”
  2. Check the boxes next to the listings you’d like to change.
  3. Click the Edit button located in the Items I'm Selling section.
  4. Choose “Condition” to edit the Item Condition.
  5. Click the Edit Listings in Bulk or Edit Listings Individually buttons on the lower left of the Edit Listings page.
Note: Store merchants and Selling Manager or Selling Manager Pro subscribers can make edits from the Active view and edit up to 200 listings at once.
Using Pre-Filled item information
You can add catalogue information and a stock photo for free to your listings. You'll find this feature on the Sell Your Item form in media categories and Electronics categories (Cell Phones, PDAs, and Digital Cameras). This feature is also available through other listing tools.
To update your listing complete these steps:
  1. Enter the UPC, ISBN, Title or Manufacturer Part Number.
  2. Select the item that matches the item you want to sell. You can insert standard product information or personalize your listing.
Specifying shipping costs
Shoppers on eBay Express can use the shopping cart to buy items from multiple merchants and pay for everything, including shipping, in one payment. PayPal processes the payments and pays all the merchants so your shipping costs must be included in the listing.
When listing items, use the appropriate fields in the Sell Your Item form to select flat rate, calculated rates, or free shipping.

To change your preferences:
  • Go to PayPal.com and log in.
  • Click the My Account tab and select Profile.
  • Select Selling Preferences then Payment Receiving Preferences.
  • Under the preference, "Block payments from U.S. users who do not provide a Confirmed Address:" select the No or Ask Me buttons.
