VIRTUAL EVENT PLATFORM QUESTIONS

What is the best way to access the event?

For the best experience, please use Chrome or Firefox on desktop and disable VPN.

For any issues with the virtual platform, select from the following list for help from RingCentral.

How do I turn on closed captions?

The captions button will show up on the right-hand menu under either Stage or Session. Click the button and the captions will appear. Closed captioning is only available on desktop, not on mobile.

I’m trying to attend a networking session, but I can’t get in or turn my camera/microphone on.

There are some capacity restrictions in the networking session rooms (just like in-person events), so it’s likely that the session is already at capacity (50). We apologize in advance for any inconvenience.

What is the Expo Hall and Virtual Booths, and how does it work?

In the Expo Hall on our event page, we will have a list of all our Virtual Booths hosted by different eBay teams and Sponsors. You can click on any booth and ask your question in the Q&A tab. The booths will have live staff answering questions in real time.

Can I ask questions during keynotes and other sessions?

Keynotes will not have Q&A available due to the large number of attendees.

All of the Training Sessions and Category Breakouts will have a Q&A tab where attendees can type questions that will be answered by an eBay expert live at the end of their presentation.

The Seller Lab sessions will have a Q&A tab where attendees can type questions that will be answered by the seller presenting live in at the end of their presentation.

Note: There are thousands of sellers attending eBay Open and a few hundred eBay employees across the event, so we may not be able to answer all questions.

Who do I contact if I have issues or questions?

For issues relating to the event, please contact sellerevents@ebay.com. For any issues related to the virtual event platform, RingCentral, please email support@events.ringcentral.com.

Why can’t I hear the speaker?
