eBay Points Redemption Terms & Conditions

Effective Date: 08/20/2019

To participate in the redemption of Points for your purchases on eBay.​com, you must have accrued Points in connection with the eBay Mastercard^® Rewards Program and accept these terms and conditions.

The following restrictions apply to the redemption of your Points:

1. REDEMPTION RESTRICTIONS:

   • Users may not redeem points for coins, paper money, bullion, virtual currency or gift cards.
   • Users may not redeem points for purchases in Classifieds, Real Estate or Motors (except Parts and Accessories).
   • Users may redeem points towards shipping fees in their checkout experience.
   • Users may not redeem points for invoicing fees or seller fees.

2. RETURNS:

   If you choose to return an item where points were used to make the original purchase, your points will be returned to your account. You will not receive the cash equivalent.

3. UPDATES AND DISCONTINUATION:

   eBay has the right to alter, amend, replace, suspend temporarily, and/or discontinue permanently, this feature and/or any feature functionality at any time without notice to you. These Terms may be amended from time to time and will remain in effect so long as you continue to use this feature.

4. GENERAL:

   These Terms apply to you in addition to the eBay.​com User Agreement, which is incorporated in these terms by reference. Where there is any conflict or inconsistency between these Terms, the User Agreement, any other agreement or policy between you and eBay, these Terms will control as to all matters that are explicitly addressed in these Terms. For all matters not explicitly discussed in these Terms, the User Agreement, other agreement or policy will control.

The eBay Mastercard is issued by Synchrony Bank pursuant to a license by Mastercard International Incorporated. Mastercard is a registered trademark, and the circles design is a trademark of Mastercard International Incorporated.
