Alipay is currently only available to use on items listed in USD on eBay.com. and to buyers on eBay.com who are located in mainland China, or for purchases being sent to a shipping address in mainland China.

Occasionally, Alipay may not be available as an option at checkout, because:

- The order total is over the $8000 USD transaction limit

- Your order includes items from excluded categories, such as NFT

- Your order includes items not listed in USD

To pay with Alipay, you need to sign in your eBay account.

You can’t use Alipay as a guest user. If you don’t have an eBay account yet, you can sign up here.

After signing into your eBay account, simply select Pay with Alipay when paying for your order. Here’s how:

1. Select Alipay on the checkout page.

2. Select Pay with Alipay.

3. Sign into your Alipay account and authorize the payment.

The amount for your items and order total will be shown in USD on eBay, and you can see the equivalent amount in CNY under the currency exchange rate offered by Alipay. You can then pay directly in CNY when using Alipay.

When paying with Alipay, eBay isn’t involved in the currency exchange and doesn’t add any fees in between.

Yes. When paying with Alipay, you’re still covered by eBay buyer protection programs like the eBay Money Back Guarantee. If you’re due a refund for your eBay purchase and you paid for the item with Alipay, we’ll apply the refund directly back to your Alipay account.

No, your Alipay account info won’t be saved on eBay. You will be redirected to Alipay to authorize and make the payment each time.
