Sign In Feature Preview

Thank you for previewing eBay's new Sign In feature. This feature will reduce how often you need to enter your User ID and password on eBay. It can save you valuable typing time.

After you sign into eBay, you no longer have to keep entering your User ID and password over and over again for every action - whether it's bidding, listing an item, or posting to the chat boards. You can choose which actions you want to make available for the Sign In feature.

To see how the Sign In feature works, take a look at the mockups below.
NOTE: These mockups are not working demonstrations. They are simply screenshots of how the feature might work.

The first mockup shows where the Sign In feature is available - in the upper right-hand corner of every eBay page.

The second mockup is the actual Sign In page.

The third mockup is the page in which you specify what actions you want to make available for the Sign In feature. You fill out this page the first time you sign in. To change your preferences for this page, you simply go to your Preference tab on your My eBay page.

The fourth mockup is an Item page where a member has signed in and specified that they want to use the Sign In feature for bidding.

The fifth mockup is an Item page where a member has signed in but specified that they did not want the Sign In feature to remember their password for bidding.
