What is an eBay Town Hall event?
An eBay Town Hall is a live, 90-minute online Community forum event, broadcasted over the Internet (via eBay Radio). Each live Town Hall broadcast provides eBay members with an opportunity to ask a panel of eBay leaders questions about the eBay Marketplace.
How do I join the Town Hall?
In order to participate in a Town Hall event, return to this page on the time and day of the event, and click the Town Hall graphic above which will take you to the eBay Radio Group page. From there, follow the steps for "Listen Live" which will direct you to the media player provided to us by our broadcast partners at Voicemarketing.com (producers and hosts of eBay Town Halls and eBay Radio).
How do I submit a question to be answered in a Town Hall event?
eBay members are encouraged to participate in Town Hall events. If you'd like to ask a question, jump on those phone lines by dialing our toll free number: 888-723-4630 . Griff and Lee will welcome you on the air and invite you to ask your question. (Limit one question per call. Questions must be about one the topics listed on the agenda for that particular Town Hall). Alternatively, questions can be submitted by emailing TownHall@ebay.com. The Town Hall staff will review every question that is submitted immediately prior to or during the broadcast. Due to time constraints and resources, not all questions will be answered, either on the air or with an email response after the broadcast. General eBay questions should be sent directly to eBay Customer Support.
How does eBay determine the questions that are actually asked and answered during at Town Hall event?
For each Town Hall event, we attempt to answer as many questions as possible related to the agenda for that particular Town Hall. Priority is given to eBay Members who call in to 888-723-4630 with their question or comment. Asking your question live and "on the air" throughout the eBay Community allows your voice to be heard by the company's decision makers.
Is there any special equipment needed to participate in a Town Hall event?
No. All you need is a computer with speakers or headphones. Our broadcast partner, Voicemarketing.com, provides the rest automatically. Just go to www.ebayradio.com and click the Listen Live or Archives On Demand button.
