Not long ago, we asked for your eBay stories - about eBay users going above and beyond, connecting with others, or reaching out to help a perfect stranger simply because it's the right thing to do.
The stories flooded in. It was hard to choose among all the entries, but we felt that our Grand Prize winner especially captured the spirit of The Power of All of Us. Our 25 first-place winners also deserve recognition.
To everyone who shared their story: Thanks for making eBay a place that's always worth visiting.

I met the person and group of kids that changed my life, my perspective, and my future goals on eBay - and it all began after buying a $1.50 T-shirt. An amazing teacher and her class, from an impoverished district, all in need, started an eBay store to help pay for the basics for her "kids". I was so inspired by this amazing teacher, and the tenacity of her students, that they have become my "adopted class." I am working on a Winter Clothing Drive, and we send each other emails and cards. I send packages of little things to remind the kids they are special, and we have established their own class library. I have been so inspired by these incredible people that my future is for a Non-profit foundation ("The Tiny Jules Foundation for Teachers and Kids") to help others, like Leanne and her class. They have reminded me of what is important in life, inspired me to be better, and given me back my enthusiasm for life. (If this is selected, I want the award to go directly to "The Marquette Marketplace," then the kids can select new clothes, something they have never had before!) Other eBayers have joined in and have been equally inspired by this Amazing teacher. She touches everyone she comes in contact with, and her kids...are just indescribably amazing examples of hard work, and overcoming hardship.
