How can Store Inventory listings increase your bottom line?
I see stores items as "Point of Purchase" items.
People wander into your store in the mall. Others have what you have, be it clothes, jewelry, shoes, electronics, books, etc. They come to your store because you are in the mall, not necessarily because they know you have exactly what they want.
You have to entice them to buy MORE than that one little thing they were looking for that you happened to be selling. So you entice them by putting your expensive items up on mannequins (ie: pictures with links in your auctions). You entice them by asking them as they check out if they need socks or earrings or lipgloss - something they did NOT come in for (ie: merchandising relationships). Hey, we just marked down a bunch of stuff! Go look in that bin over there (ie: sale items link on your ME page). Or hey, buy one more pair of jeans and you can get this cute top for a discount (ie: discount link on your ME page).
Those are things people don't see just strolling through the mall. You have to internally advertise to them. That's what having a store is all about!
