eBay Stores! 30 Day Free Trial Offer FAQs |
Q. Do I qualify for the eBay Stores 30-day free trial?
A.
You
qualify for the promotion if you are a first-time subscriber to a Basic or Premium Store, and if your listings appear on eBay.com. After the first month, you will be charged the regular monthly subscription fee. First-time Anchor Store subscribers are not eligible to receive the 30-day free trial.
Q. When is the eBay Stores 30-day
free trial offer valid?
A. This promotion is valid for subscriptions
starting at 12:00:00 AM (PT) April 29th, 2008 through 11:59:59 PM (PT)
July 31, 2008.
Q. If I currently have a Basic Store
subscription, can I upgrade to Premium Store and take advantage of
this promotion?
A.
Upgrades to a Premium Store subscription do not qualify. The
promotional offer is valid to first-time subscribers to a Basic
or Premium Store only. Please note if you open a Basic Store with the 30-day free trial, then upgrade to a Premium Store within the 30 day trial period, your 30-day free trial will end.
Q. How will I receive my 30-day free trial?
A. Your 30-day free trial will appear as a one-time credit equalling the charge for the first 30 days of your subscription. Thus after you begin your subscription, your next invoice will show three lines of activity:
- A one-time prorated charge based on the number
of days left in your billing cycle when you started the subscription.
- The regular monthly subscription fee covering
the next billing cycle in advance.
- A one-time credit for the free one-month trial, equal to the regular monthly subscription fee.
Although it may
appear as if you are being charged for the first 30 days, a credit for
these first 30 days will be posted to your account to offset the charge.
If you decide to cancel your subscription anytime during the free trial
period, the remaining subscription balance will be credited back to your
account and appear on the next invoice.
