New eBay Site Survey Results

We wanted to thank all of you who have taken the time in the past few months to give us your input on the new eBay site. We wanted to share with you some of the results that we have received.

We received the following results from the question, "Compare this new page to the old version of the page that you are accustomed to seeing on eBay. How do you think the two pages compare?"

27.1%	I like the new page a little better than the old page
14.3%	I like both pages the same
4.1%	I like the new page a little less than the old page
2.4%	I like the new page much less than the old page
1.9%	I do not like the new page at all
1.0%	I do not like either page

"Why do you want to change everything so much? If it isn't broke don't fix it. I am so used to the old pages I do not have the patience to fiddle around trying to find what I want or where I want to go."

"The new look seems easier to navigate. I like it. I also love the Gallery, I do most of my browsing through that."

"I really like that you have included a 'My eBay' icon on all the new pages. If it was on the old site, I never noticed it and always thought it was a lot of trouble to get to my eBay page, and that's always where I go first!"

"The page is fine. I would like to see eBay add an option for a 10 day auction."

"I just LOVE the new way to select categories. I often got 'lost' in the maze of subcategories, but this definitely makes life easier for me. Thanks." - on the Sell Your Item page

"I like it - as with the other new pages, it makes it so much easier to navigate eBay that I have discovered new areas I am anxious to explore now."

"The category listing on the list item page was a bit confusing at first (no directions), but I like it better now that I know how to use it." - on the Sell Your Item page

"The only problem I see for me is that the instructions on how to add a picture in the description area are no longer there. Specifically the "<img src=http://www.anywhere.com/mypicture.jpg>" I always have to refer to those directions. They are very handy to have there. Would miss that very much. But the categories now are SO MUCH EASIER to find when choosing which category to place your item in. BRAVO!!" - on the Sell Your Item page
