1) How to Enter. This eBay Online Postage Shipping Sweepstakes ("Sweepstakes") begins at 12:00 AM Pacific Standard Time (PST) March 1, 2005 and ends at 11:59 PM PST March 31, 2005 ("Entry Period"). During this Entry Period, there are two (2) ways to enter the sweepstakes. [1] To enter online: (a) Register for the Sweepstakes promotion at http://pages.ebay.com/shipping/sweepstakes.html (the "Registration Page"); (b) You will automatically earn one (1) entry into the Sweepstakes for each time you purchase and print a USPS Priority or Express label through Online Postage on ebay.com, for details on Online Postage go to http://pages.ebay.com/usps/print_postage.html. [2] To enter by mail without using Online Postage on eBay.com: Hand print your name, address, city, state, zip, email address, eBay User ID (if you have one) and your day and evening phone numbers on a 3"x 5" card and mail in a #10 envelope to: eBay Online Postage Shipping Sweepstakes, P.O. Box 4319, Manhasset, NY 11030-4319. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by March 31, 2005 and received by April 7, 2005. Regardless of entry method, Limit 30 entries per eligible person and per eBay User ID. eBay Inc. ("Sponsor") is not responsible for stolen, lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, inaccurate, illegible entries or postage due mail. No mechanical reproductions of entries permitted. All information provided to Sponsor when registering for the Sweepstakes will be used in accordance with Sponsor's privacy policy located on the eBay Site.
 
2) Drawing for Winners/Prize Notification: Potential prize winners of the Sweepstakes will be determined in a random drawing to take place on or about April 13, 2005 from among all eligible entries received during the Entry Period. The Sweepstakes Drawing will be conducted by Marden-Kane Inc. (the "Administrator"), an independent judging organization whose decisions are final on matters relating to this Sweepstakes. The Administrator will notify potential winners of the Sweepstakes by email or mail. The Grand Prize winner of the Sweepstakes will be required to sign, where legal, an affidavit of eligibility, consent to publicity, liability waiver, and return same, properly executed within ten (10) days of issuance. Failure to sign and return affidavit to Administrator in time noted will result in disqualification of entry and an alternate potential winner[s] will be selected. Guest of the Grand Prize winner must sign a release of liability and publicity (unless prohibited by law) prior to issuance of travel documents. If guest of the Grand Prize winner is under 18 years old, and is not the child of the winner, the guests' parent or legal guardian will be required to co-sign a travel release. The Grand Prize winner will be required to furnish his/her social security number which will be used only for the purpose of reporting the winner's prize earnings to the Internal Revenue Service as required by law. If the prize or prize notification is unclaimed or returned as undeliverable, or if a winner fails to properly sign and return all forms described herein, the Sweepstakes prize will be forfeited and awarded to an alternate. eBay Inc. ("Sponsor") reserves all rights, including the right to edit, publish, use, adapt, modify, or dispose of any proper names, likenesses, photographs, and/or city/states identification of the entrant online, in print, or in any other media for advertising and promotional purposes for this and similar promotions in all media (including and without limitation, the Internet) without additional compensation, consideration or payment to the entrant except where prohibited by law. If an entrant changes his/her telephone number, email address and/or street address after he/she enters the Sweepstakes, it is his/her sole responsibility to notify the Sponsor by (postal) mailing notice to the Sweepstakes Administrator address (listed below) to be received by the end of the Entry Period.
 
3) Prizes: One (1) Grand Prize will be awarded: A 8-day / 7-night Caribbean Cruise trip for two (2) persons. Trip includes round-trip coach air transportation from a major U.S. airport closest to Grand Prize winner's home to Orlando, FL, deluxe accommodations on the ship, transfers to/from airport, all meals, government fees and port charges. Approximate Retail Value (ARV): $6,450. Four-Hundred (400) First Prizes will be awarded: A Pitney Bowes Shipping Scale. Approximate Retail Value (ARV) $40 each. Total Approximate Retail Value of all prizes: $22,450. All other expenses relating to acceptance and use of any prize that are not explicitly listed herein as being awarded, including payment of taxes, are responsibility of the winner. Prizes subject to availability and Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to award a prize of greater or equal value if the advertised prize is unavailable. No substitutions or transfers of prize permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. All other costs not specifically stated herein, including, but not limited to, taxes, other meals, drinks and tips are the responsibility of the Sweepstakes Grand Prize winner. Taxes are the sole responsibility of the winners. Reservations for any trip must be made through Sponsor's agent, on a carrier of Sponsor's choice on a double occupancy, coach class with thirty (30) advanced notice. Winner and guest must have a U.S. birth certificate and/or valid U.S. passport for cruise travel. Blackout periods and other restrictions, conditions, and limitations may apply. Complete terms and conditions of the cruise will be furnished with Sweepstakes prize notification. Travel companion of Grand Prize trip winner must travel with winner on the same itinerary. Winner and travel companion are responsible for obtaining travel insurance (and all other forms of insurance) where applicable, at their option, and hereby acknowledge that the Sponsor has not and will not obtain or provide travel insurance or any other form of insurance. Grand Prize winner and travel companion, or the parent or legal guardian if companion is under 18 years of age, must sign a consent to Publicity, Liability Waiver and Travel Release form prior to traveling. If a selected event is unable to take place as scheduled, for reasons such as cancellation, preemption, postponement or unavailability, or for any reason beyond the control of the Sponsor, Sponsor's sole responsibility to a Grand Prize winner will be to award the remaining available portion of the prize and no substitution will be provided for unawarded portion of prize. Odds of winning depend on the total amount of eligible entries received. Limit of one (1) Sweepstakes prize per person. No substitutions or transfers of Sweepstakes prizes are permitted, except at Sponsor's sole discretion. Any pictures of prizes are provided for illustrative purposes only.
 
4) Eligibility. This Sweepstakes is open to all legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older who are confirmed registered members of eBay Site at time of entry (offline entrants need not be registered members of the eBay Site). You will not be eligible if your eBay account is not in Good Standing. In order for your account to be deemed in Good Standing as that term is used herein, you must not have a hold on your account and your account must not be suspended or past due as of March 31, 2005. Employees of eBay Inc. and its subsidiaries, affiliates, prize suppliers and advertising and promotion agencies, including Marden-Kane, Inc., and their immediate families (spouse, parents, children, siblings and their respective spouses) and individuals living in the same household as such employees are ineligible to enter or win. Void in Puerto Rico and where prohibited.
 
5) LIMITATION OF LIABILITY. BY PARTICIPATING IN THE PROMOTION, ENTRANTS AGREE TO ABIDE BY THE TERMS OF THESE OFFICIAL RULES AND THE DECISIONS OF THE JUDGES, WAIVE ANY RIGHT TO CLAIM AMBIGUITY IN THE RULES, AND RELEASE, INDEMNIFY AND HOLD HARMLESS THE SPONSOR, EBAY INC., MARDEN-KANE, INC. AND EACH OF THEIR, AFFILIATES, SUBSIDIARIES AND THEIR RESPECTIVE AGENTS, REPRESENTATIVES, OFFICERS, DIRECTORS, SHAREHOLDERS AND EMPLOYEES (COLLECTIVELY, "RELEASEES") FROM AND AGAINST ANY INJURIES, LOSSES, DAMAGES, CLAIMS, ACTIONS, OR ANY LIABILITY OF ANY KIND RESULTING FROM OR ARISING FROM PARTICIPATION IN THE PROMOTION OR ACCEPTANCE, POSSESSION, USE, MISUSE OR NONUSE OF THE PRIZE THAT MAY BE AWARDED. 7) Winner's List. For the names of the winners available after April 30, 2005, send a self-addressed, stamped envelope to: eBay Online Postage Shipping Sweepstakes Winners, PO Box 6000, Manhasset, NY 11030-6000. Requests must be received by April 30, 2005.
